Responsibilities:

  • Verify health insurance information for new patients and referrals
  • Update insurance information for existing patients as needed
  • Call to Obtain pre-authorization and referrals as required by insurance carrier
  • Explain the benefits and financial responsibilities to the patients
  • Answer questions related to billing and insurance benefits
  • Assist in answering incoming calls
  • Scheduling patientsRequirements and Qualifications:
    • Highschool Diploma or GED Certificate
    • Medical office experience
    • Phone/Communications Skills
    • Basic medical terminal terminology
    • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)Job Type: Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourSchedule:
      • Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Mask requiredEducation:
        • High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:
          • Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)
          • Medical billing: 1 year (Preferred)Language:
