Head of Digital MarketingMiami, United States of AmericaWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGThe new Head of Digital Marketing will partner with the CMO to drive leading-edge strategies to advance Santander Bank's digital footprint. This role will lead a team of digital marketing professionals that manage the planning, execution and optimization of Santander's digital programs. This includes developing digital content, engaging with audiences across digital channels and optimizing marketing investments.

  • Serve as a key thought leader for Santander Bank NA's complete digital ecosystem driving the digital vision and strategy with the CMO.
  • Increase customer engagement by nurturing consumer needs, building trust, educating on the Bank's products/services and offering personalization. Ensure existing and new service offerings enhance the overall experience with Santander Bank and connect to the core attributes of the Company's user base.
  • Focus on consumer engagement, loyalty and a differentiated omni-channel experience. In this capacity, forge strong working relationships with the Head of Digital and the Head of Social Media as well as the other direct reports of the CMO - Head of Strategy, Head of Advertising & Brand, Head of Operations, Head of Consumer Experience and Head of User Experience (UX) and Head of MarTech, who are all important stakeholders.
  • Create an omni-channel strategy that is cohesive, consistent, and engaging. Grow and upgrade organizational capabilities in digital/social and seamlessly integrate marketing campaigns across all consumer touchpoints. Understand consumer journeys and shifts in online behavior as well as competitive activity. This strategy should drive customer engagement, increases Santander's digital reach, and directly contributes to growing revenue and developing meaningful consumer insights
  • Establish a digital transformation agenda for the organization and oversee implementation across the enterprise.
  • Working across all digital platforms, leverage data to develop targeted marketing campaigns that enhance the brand, reflect current consumer trends, and anticipate where the consumer is going.
  • Lead the continuous enhancement of all Santander Bank NA consumer facing digital properties with a focus on the website and app,
  • Oversee budgets for digital marketing initiatives and execute applicable programs against it.
  • Work with cross-functional partners in Marketing and IT to define a customer experience that reflects evolving consumer behavior and leverages data, business analytics, and digital technologies including social media and mobile platforms.
  • Partner with IT on the identification and acquisition of technology, tools, and talent to fully leverage digital data to support the execution of digital strategy.
  • Develop and lead all relevant internal digital services, including web design, web development, and digital asset management. Simultaneously, manage all external digital agency relationships.
  • Create, develop, and retain a strong performance-oriented digital marketing team-one that operates with clear objectives and strategies in order to achieve brand, sales and profit goals.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • 15+ years of management and practical work experience focusing on marketing with an emphasis on digital.
    • Expert understanding of digital marketing initiatives and technologies with demonstrable experience in developing app strategies for exceptional customer acquisition and retention.
    • A track record of constantly improving customer experience and deploying digital best practices.
    • Significant experience managing an omnichannel business and digital platforms of relevant scale; experience in financial services and/or tech company preferred.
    • Depth of experience in managing and growing consumer engagement, and the ability to leverage data that informs customer segmentation, acquisition and retention strategies, and targeted marketing.
    • Strong analytical skills with the proven capability to use data to drive business decisions and marketing optimization. High level of business and financial acumen.
    • Proven experience in digital team management and the ability to build a team to support digital marketing objectives.
    • Experience leading a cross-functional team that is dedicated to the development, testing, validation, and roll out of a marketplace delivery strategy.
    • Proactive, forward-thinking, and agile approach to new digital/eCommerce opportunities including the ability to develop, implement and execute new growth strategies.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong executive presence and presentation skills.
    • Strong leadership, confidence without ego, and a collaborative yet driven style; able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect across all levels of the organization.
