Client Communication Marketing DirectorMiami, United States of AmericaWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGThe Client Communication Marketing Director will facilitate the development and execution of comprehensive client communication plans for the Company. The director will partner with the CMO to drive leading-edge communication strategies to advance Santander Bank's customer loyalty and engagement. This role will lead a team of user experience copy writers to create connected, customer-focused communication strategies that build awareness and adoption of Santander's banking solutions and increase performance of Santander Bank's business. This leader will drive improved outcomes through establishing a strategy and partnering to build integrated plans, providing visibility into KPIs and progress to plans and aligning the organization to the operating model.Additionally, the Director develops, implements and evaluates all marketing policies in accordance with business strategies and objectives.Key organizational responsibilities for the Client Communication Marketing Director will include:

  • Act as a key advisor and partner to the CMO, especially around client communication strategies.
  • Serve as a key thought leader and partner for Santander Bank NA 's support of digital transformation.
  • Forge strong relationship with key partners -in helping them deliver their growth, profitability and retention targets efficiently.
  • Provide input and direction to 3rd party agencies. - Work with Marketing Insights team to ensure briefs are grounded in customer insights and leverage available data to inform creative development.
  • Build strategic communication plans that aim to increase customer engagement by nurturing consumer needs, building trust, educating on the Bank's products/services and offering personalization. Ensure existing and new communications enhance the overall experience with Santander Bank and connect to the core attributes of the Company's user base.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics as well as customer experience team in driving personalized messages to enhance Marketing efficiency and loyalty.
  • Communicate clear vision and briefs to the marketing teams in digital, social, media, etc to help drive effective delivery of communications to clients.Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:Maintains current knowledge of marketing techniques of competitors.Manages the copy writing team that executes client communications in support of business lines and journey owners.Manages the implementation of customer communications -Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • 9+ -years Managing client communication strategies. or consumer strategic marketing roles, ideally in the consumer banking industry.
    • A proven track record as a strong strategic thinker with a results orientation.
    • Ability to align brand purpose and expression.
    • Experience working with matrixed global brands and multi-division organizations.
    • Depth of experience in managing and growing consumer engagement, and the ability to leverage data that informs customer communication strategies.
    • Strong analytical skills with the proven capability to use data to drive business decisions and marketing optimization. High level of business and financial acumen.
    • Experience leading a cross-functional team that is dedicated to client communication strategy execution.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong executive presence and presentation skills.
    • Strong leadership, confidence without ego, and a collaborative yet driven style; able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect across all levels of the organization.
