Job Description Job Description Job Title: Electrician Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrician Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the proper condition and functionality of electrical parts and assemblies. The candidate will also modify OEM electrical components and reinstall them on vehicles, as well as produce wiring harnesses for armored vehicles. Responsibilities Ensure all electrical parts and assemblies are in good condition. Modify OEM electrical components and reinstall them on vehicles. Reinstall all electrical components and wire harnesses on vehicles. Produce wiring harnesses needed for installation on armored vehicles. Organize and handle materials effectively, keeping track of time, job objectives, job quality, and job safety. Follow verbal and written instructions, understand part number documentation and basic wiring drawings. Reassemble various OEM electrical components, batteries, and wiring harnesses. Modify OEM wire harnesses to fit through armor pass-throughs. Install circuitry and modify OEM harnesses to operate armor glass. Install antennas, PA systems, speakers, strobe/LED lights, modules, dual battery systems, switches, communication radios, antennas, and remote starting systems. Inspect wire harnesses for shorts and perform necessary repairs. Recover and charge A/C refrigerant and test systems for leaks. Properly disconnect and reconnect all HVAC lines using hand tools and HVAC recovery and charging machines. Utilize a voltmeter for various electrical tasks. Essential Skills Experience in electrical and construction work. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Understanding of part number documentation and basic wiring drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools, HVAC recovery and charging machines, and voltmeters. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-5 years of experience in installing stereos or related electrical experience. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
