This position functions as a Case Manager for the Case Management Department under the direction of the Director of Case Management. Case Manager will incorporate the fundamental principles of utilization management, triage level or care and monitor resource consumption. To perform the coordination and general administration of the pre-admission review and the admission review utilizing InterQual-- criteria. Screen all admissions to assure compliance with appropriate level of care based on patient's documented medical necessity and treatment plan.
