Purchasing ManagerHomestead, FL - -Our client is a perishable goods manufacturing company with a strong presence in North America. As a result of their great expansion, they are currently looking for a Purchasing Manager to join them in Miami. -You will be reporting to the VP of Strategy, managing the whole purchasing process for direct and indirect material at a national level. -Key Accountabilities -

• Presentation of improvements in current processes from tactical to more automated that allow greater traceability and control.
• Guarantee the supply of materials, products, and indirect services for entire company, complying with the quality, price, and time specifications.
• Verification of indicators in the market to support negotiations to be carried out with suppliers.
• Preparation of Contracts that establish negotiations with suppliers and ensure adequate supply that covers the needs and requirements.
• Negotiation with Suppliers ensuring compliance with established procedures for purchases of indirect material.
• Communication of potential risks of lack of supply or price impacts.
• Generation, development, and implementation of saving projects.
• Provide feedback to the VP of Strategy on the impacts, risks, and results.
• Generation of ideas for improvement in the indirect material purchasing material process (operation, system). -Qualifications -
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or the equivalent preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of procurement systems, tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Both Direct and Indirect Procurement experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of negotiations, driving cost reduction strategies and day to day procurement operations -The role is located in Homestead, FL (hybrid mode with expectation of work from the office 3x a week).Powered by JazzHR
