Pediatric - Hematology/Oncology Clinic has an exciting opportunity
for a Full Time Chemotherapy Registered Nurse. The Chemotherapy
Registered Nurse :Will be a professional registered nurse who
administers research study agents including Phase I, standard
chemotherapy and biotherapy agents, and nonchemotherapy
medications.He/she will administer care to pediatric oncology,
hematology, bone marrow transplant and non-oncology patients as
well as with multiple disease process' in the Pediatric
Hematology/Oncology Clinic.may assist in sedations and procedures
in the treatment room in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Clinic.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to
be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or
responsibilities as necessary.Minimum Qualifications:
Education:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's
degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree
have 2 years to complete the BSN degree.Certification and
Licensing:Current/valid Florida nursing license. BLS/PALS Provider
Cards required.Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy & Biotherapy
Administration Guidelines provider course.Association of Pediatric
Hematology-Oncology Chemotherapy & Biotherapy
AdministrationGuidelines provider course preferred.Experience:8
Minimum of three (3) years recent pediatric hematology-oncology
nursing experience.Recent experience In administering chemotherapy
and biotherapy agents.Oncology, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, or
Pediatric Certified Nurse certification preferred.Sedation
