A national leading -healthcare -system based in south Florida is now seeking an experienced Chief Medical Physicist -Proton Therapy to join their award winning organization.Noted as one of the best -healthcare -systems in the region by -U.S. News and World Report, this academic institute provides top quality care in a variety of awarded service lines. This not-for-profit system comprises multiple acute care hospital locations and hundreds of outpatient care locations throughout the south Florida region. -Reporting to the Medical Physics Director, the Chief Medical Physicist -Proton Therapy will ensure the safe and effective delivery of proton-based radiation treatments to patients and provide leadership to -Proton Therapy staff. Other responsibilities include participating in clinical research, supporting system-wide compliance and quality initiatives, providing training and support to Medical Physicist staff and Radiation Oncology departments, and overseeing equipment maintenance. -What's Needed to Succeed:Master's degree or PhD in Medical PhysicsLicensed and certified as a Therapeutic Radiological PhysicistPrior working and leadership experience is a plus!This established organization is located in one of southern Florida's most popular coastal metropolitan areas.
