Job Description Locum Tenens opportunity for an Anesthesiologist
in a dynamic hospital setting located in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
The role offers a flexible schedule with various shift options and
potential on-call duties. As part of a care team model, you'll work
within a Level II Trauma Center across multiple facilities
providing broad-spectrum anesthesia services. Key Details -
Assignment Type: Locum Tenens - Setting: Hospital - Start Date:
Pending credentialing (60–90 days; expedited if clean file) -
Schedule: 16–20 shifts per month; Shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM,
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Patient Population: Adult
- Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida - Stipends: Housing and travel

- Administer anesthesia for a variety of cases including
orthopedics, general surgery, vascular, ophthalmology, urology,
neurosurgery, and gastroenterology. - Perform required procedures
such as trauma and regional anesthesia (ultrasound-guided). -
Operate within a care team model alongside MD Anesthesiologists and
CRNAs. - Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation. - Excluded
cases: Cardiac, obstetrics, and pediatrics. Qualifications - Must
hold and maintain current AHA-approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS
certifications. - Strong preference for candidates residing out of
state. Working Hours - Full-time schedule with daytime shifts;
flexible on-call availability. Skills - Proficiency in
ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. - Ability to work
collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. - Competence in
managing a broad range of surgical cases within a trauma
setting.
