Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of direct liver/transplant RN experience required License: Current nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: Strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience reflected on skills checklist. Proficient in Misonix/CUSA. Experience putting organs back in the new patient, not just harvesting. Description: This position involves working day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. The nurse will be required to perform liver call and handle other cases as needed. The requirements for the position are non-negotiable. Candidates must have strong experience reflecting the required specialties. They will participate in the care of adult and geriatric patients. The facility operates in a teaching environment, and all candidates must be willing to train students and new staff. Travelers must be nicotine-free, and a negative 10-panel drug screen is required. All time-sensitive modules must be prioritized once confirmed for the assignment. Any time off requests must be included in the submission.
