As a Business Analytics and Insights Manager, you will work with multiple key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Franchise and Retail Brand Development teams to provide insights inspiring action and change. You will use first- and third-party data, customer research insights, and market trends to guide analysis that identifies opportunities to grow the business. This role reports to the Sr Manager on the team.

You Will...Reporting and Data Management

  • Lead design and distribution of account-specific weekly, category, seasonal, or franchise-based reporting for retail teams
  • Conduct regular presentations and read-outs to internal Sales and Marketing teams on overall performance, KPI's, and trend to forecasts and budgetsAnalytics
    • Identify and size incremental account growth and white space opportunities at both the Franchise/Property and Category/ Subcategory level through data mining of internal POS, syndicated data sources, shopper analytics, market share benchmarking, and industry analyst research
    • Drive analytics for high visibility, executive business meeting presentations and pitches with retailer buyers
    • Work with Sales, Retail Marketing, Franchise, and Retail Brand Development teams to effectively sell-in incremental programs, defend existing placements, or make business case to support our brands vs. competitorsPlanning and Forecasting
      • Lead account AOP and 5 year strategic plan, retail sales forecasting, and initiative sizing process by franchise and category. Triangulate internal, industry, qualitative, and publicly available data to determine incremental revenue opportunities
      • Develop quarterly account level forecasts by franchise and category using current and historical sales data, industry trends, seasonality, future retailer programs, brand plans, and qualitative intelligence
        Basic Qualifications :
        • 5+ years experience in Business, Retail, or Data Analytics, Retail Planning, or Finance
        • Experience interpreting data to identify insights and communicate into applicable strategies.
        • Experience using third-party syndicated data, research, and platforms.
        • High level of fluency with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Oracle forecasting systems (or their equivalent), and Business Intelligence/Data Visualization tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, Power BI)
          Required Education :
          • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline
