Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe Technical Service Representative will provide
technical assistance and answers to users questions, assisting
users by providing excellent customer service in a science/lab
environment.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves users problems
- Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication
from users with inquiries regarding our services
- Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to
identify and resolve the problem.
- Applies knowledge of
- Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes,
which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or
following verbal instructions.
- Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve
problems.
- Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
- Assist in on-site tours/visits
- Performs other related duties as assigned.Required
Skills/Abilities:
- Technical background with an interest in science/biology
- Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of
computer hardware and software.Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in a Science or Technology related field
preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer support highly
preferred.On-Site position in Homestead, FLSalary:
