Legal Assistant – Bad Faith / Insurance Coverage Litigation Downtown Miami | Full-Time | In-Office | Full Benefits A respected mid-sized law firm with multiple office locations is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Downtown Miami team. This is a full-time, in-office role offering full benefits and the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding bad faith and insurance coverage cases on the plaintiff side. Position Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Assistant with hands-on experience supporting attorneys in bad faith and insurance coverage litigation. The right candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Support attorneys handling bad faith and insurance coverage matters for policyholders. Prepare and file legal documents, maintain case files, and manage legal calendars. Assist with scheduling, trial preparation, and correspondence. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations within a busy legal assistant desk focused on insurance coverage work. Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably with direct exposure to bad faith and insurance coverage litigation. Demonstrated strong work history with multiple years of tenure at prior law firms, this is a must. Familiarity with Florida court procedures and e-filing systems. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Must be punctual, reliable, and comfortable in a collaborative, in-office environment.
