Customer Supply Chain Support9760 SW 344th, Homestead, FL 33035FL015 In Plant StoreFull-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pmOVERVIEW:Working as Full-time Customer Supply Chain Support, you will engage in a variety of activities to support the customer''s supply chain in order to improve the performance of the onsite business. This is an entry level position where you will build a foundation of experience in customer relationship management and operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:o Responding and coordinating resources relative to customer requestso Managing inventoryo Placing and fulfilling orderso Receiving and shipping inventoryo Executing inventory fulfillment within the customer facilityo Sourcing and quoting new and existing productso Participating in continuous improvement activities and implementing new business processeso Monetizing and reporting the value of supply chain management activities to the customerREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of worko Possess or are working towards a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local marketo Excellent written and oral communication skillso Proficient computer skillso Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyo Highly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedo Be comfortable in a sales-oriented environmento Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworko Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbso Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)o Comply with any customer site access authorizations, required by a customer/contract serviced by this locationPREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:o Possess a current full valid driver''s license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as neededo Possess an interest in career advancementABOUT US:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with approximately 3,200 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
